Hi and welcome to Friends Connect. You have now taken the first steps to finding new friends and a fun filled social life. You are probably wondering what Friends Connect is all about. Friends Connect was set up as I myself am widowed and have been from a relatively young age 40 in fact, and I found that my social life was practically non existent, I realised that I had to change this no one was going to do it for me, it also got me to start thinking that there must be other people out there like me no matter what their circumstances may be, who felt they were in a similar situation and needed to do something about it. This is how Friends Connect came into being.
Friends Connect simply brings together males and females of all ages who meet up in a relaxed environment who simply wish to find some new friends in life whilst at the same time rediscovering a fun filled social life. If you feel your social life is a bit dull and needs livening up or that you would simply like to extend your social circle then you have come to the right place. We meet every Tuesday evening at
I know that attending an event on your own can be a bit daunting and you may be a bit hesitant, but rest assured you will receive a warm welcome by our group, and do not forget that we all had to take those first initial steps.
